Fundamental Principles

     It is aimed to design the Additive Manufacturing Technologies Application and Research Center in a structure that can compete with centers established abroad for the same purposes, as well as being a national center of excellence that will set an example for our country. In line with this goal, the following elements were carefully considered in the structuring of the Center;

     1- A national academic working environment that allows the participation/access of the relevant academic units (universities, related faculties/institutes/departments/academics in our country) operating in the fields of "additive manufacturing" and "powder metallurgy" or in all scientific fields related to these fields. creation,

     2- Establishing a technology development environment that allows the participation/access of all sectors (mechanical manufacturing, automotive, space, defense industry, metallurgy, logistics, etc.) in the fields of "additive manufacturing" and "powder metallurgy" or related to these fields,

     3- Carrying out the activities of the Center in an area that can be carried out together with the sector (such as Organized Industrial Zone, Technology Development Zone),

    4- Carrying out the activities of the Center with full-time graduate and doctoral students, encouraging these students to become entrepreneurs and founders of technology companies in the sector after their graduation,

     5- Carrying out the academic studies in the center with the full-time postgraduate education method by both meeting the needs of the sector and establishing international academic collaborations, thus creating a model for the training of qualified manpower.
