A2M2TECH (Doctoral Programme in Advanced Materials & Advanced Manufacturing Technologies) led by Gazi University (GU), as the main beneficiary, through the Additive Manufacturing Technology Application and Research Center (EKTAM), co-funded by Horizon 2020 H2020-MSCA, under Excellent Science Scholarship and Mobility, Marie Skłodowska-Curie and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) with the budget of 4.9 Million Euro was initiated/started on June 1st, 2021. This programme/A2M2TECH offers interdisciplinary, intersectorial and international excellence doctoral training programme in all aspects of advanced manufacturing and advanced materials, with a major focus on additive manufacturing and related technologies. Within the scope of this programme, 22 international and fulltime Ph.D students work on preselected research topics whose outputs are product- oriented and our country will benefit from the results/outputs of the research activities. This project in question is the only programme which is supported by the European Commission has become a sought after and preferred Ph.D modality by the international students working in a research center in Turkey. METU, ITU, and IZTECH participate in the programme as supporting partners/universities.
